In July of 2013, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Upstate New York Gaming Economic Development Act, a new law that would allow the development of four new, non-Native American gaming destination resorts in several upstate New York regions.
Following an extensive and competitive process, the New York Gaming Commission awarded Wilmorite the license to build and operate a new $455M casino in Tyre, NY.
Developed in an aggressive 14 month schedule, the casino floor opened on February 1, 2017. del Lago features 2,000 slots machines, 12 poker tables, and 77 other table games. It also has The Vine, a 1,800 seat concert venue, as well as several restaurants including Portico by celebrity chef Fabio Viviani.
The hotel portion of del Lago opened in July, 2017. It features 205 luxury hotel rooms, as well as a full-service spa, banquet hall, and upscale shopping.
