Wilmorite led the design group in transforming an abandoned twenty-seven story, reinforced concrete skeleton with extensive weathering and structural concerns into its finished
grandeur.

The goal was to turn this structure into a completed 336 room, 306,000 square foot, full services luxury hotel with in 18 months.
Wilmorite organized an array of consultants to prepare property condition assessments, including destructive testing, to determine the structural soundness of the buildings shell.

By fast-tracking through material selections, enclosure of public areas was completed in the first couple of months. Extensive
interfacing with below-grade service tunnels, public streetscapes and public parking
structures presented constant challenges.

Despite these challenges the project was
completed $2.5M under budget.
