Project Highlights

This project involved major on-site and off-site work, including moving over 1.4 million cubic yards of earth. An underground storm sewer system, with detention ponds designed to drain into environmentally sensitive wetland areas. The construction was coordinated with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

Wilmorite worked closely with the New Jersey Department of Transportation to eliminate a major traffic circle and constructed a fully functioning intersection. Reconstruction of approximately 2.5 miles of highway, with lane and signal additions and a median barrier added to the complexity of the project. Wilmorite also upgraded the existing water system and constructed a 3 million gallon tower to supply water for fire and domestic needs.

The completed mall consists of 1,700,000 square feet of first-class indoor shopping including leading national department and in-line stores.
