Project Highlights

This project consisted of two student dormitory buildings totaling 64 beds with each two-story building having 8,000 square feet. The exterior was finished with brick, precast concrete, and vinyl siding. All rooms were ‘smart-wired’ with high-speed voice-data and video distribution systems. With highgrade interior finishes, the end product is a good example of a modern state-of-the-art dormitory that also offers a home-like environment for the students.

Since the buildings were constructed simultaneously, there were several challenges such as the project’s complexity and the tight schedule. The project finished on time and under budget, enabling the college to turn over the buildings to the students as they arrived for the beginning of the school year.
